Erika Pataki

Board Member | Hungary


Erika Pataki has been a member of the LuCE board since May 2023. She is a LuCE Member representing the organsation Lelek-zet Egyesület in Hungary.

Erika is an expert in Public Health and a Smoking Cessation Specialist. She has a rich professional history, previously working in the social field, particularly with individuals who have special needs.

At present, Erika holds a position at the National Koranyi Institute of Pulmonology, Budapest, Hungary, in the Department of Health Management and Methodology. In 2019, she co-founded Lélek-zet Egyesület in Hungary, a support group for lung cancer patients, and has since been an active board member of the association.

Erika’s commitment and involvement in LuCE includes contributing to the “Get Checked” campaign and “Report” working groups.

Her academic background includes a master’s degree in public health fields from the University of Pécs. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD at the University of Babes Bolyai in Cluj, Romania, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for lung cancer patients.

Aside from her professional commitments, Erika is a dedicated mother to four wonderful individuals.

She speaks Hungarian (Native), and English.
